Wellington - The Wellington Baseball Academy, led by national development officer Kris Richards, is excited to announce the launching of its new baseball development webiste. Inline with both, the Wellington Baseball Assosciation and Baseball New Zealand, the Wellington Baseball Academy looks to help develop players and coaches through a virtual platform. As the season progresses more videos and informative material will become available. We are excited about the Wellington Baseball Academy because it will be unique to the Greater Wellington Region allowing for proper education and growth within the baseball community.

The webiste and its contenet will be available to all clubs, players, coaches and parents who have joined the Wellington Baseball Asssociaiton. All participating clubs, players and coaches will be assigned a unique password to allow for free and unlimited acces. For those that are not part of the Wellington Baseball Asssociation, they will have the option to pay for a subscription to view all content.

The Wellington Baseball Academy website looks to offer:

• Unique virtual expereince personlaized to those in the Greater Wellington Region
• Instructional Videos for players, coaches and parents
• Baseball IQ and terminology tests
• Handouts, manuals and training regimes
• Blog and forums to allow interaction within the Wellington community
• Scheduling capabilities for clinics and personal instrution
• Purchase of Wellington Baseball, local club and Baseball New Zealand appareal
